I don’t like Rush’s music from the 90s, but if I was cornered, I’d say Counterparts is a my favorite overall and I’m not even really a fan of this album. I miss the synthesizers. Cry

Yeah, I missed the 'light and shade' in their music. On pre Presto albums the songs seemed to individually stand out, after that period, the songs seemed to blur into one for me.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Snakes and Arrows for me.....though I do like Vapor and Clockwork also....

Counterparts by a wide margin. Not really a big fan of the last few albums . Something about the production I think. In the past rush could sound very heavy but there was always clean separation
of all the instruments. The last few sound very muddy to me. Not sure what really what it is .
