^^^ some of those "rock" fashions were truly dreadful
Hated the stuff for 20 years, but nowadays I view a bit differently a lot of that disco stuff was really killer funk stuff (Chic is anything but "easy" stuff to play) |

Disco made the hard bass lines very popular. Funk gave us the bass line, disco made it popular. The 70's gave us overuse of the hi-hat......

HAR! Mind you, there was some glam that I was OK with, Freddie Mercury pulled the trick off very well, and Eno backed up his weirdness with some amazing music! Still some of the fashions left me cold!! I quite enjoy David Bowie but can hardly stand to look at this outfit... |
