Topic: Can Albums Posted: July 18 2017 at 13:44 |
Future Days was my first Can album, and I didn't think that highly of it. I then got Tago Mago and liked it more, then got Ege Bamyasi and loved that album. Later I grew to love Tago Mago the most of these three, but Soundtracks became my favourite Can album for some years. Now I've grown to love Future Days. I really love all of Can's first six studio albums.
I don't know which my favourite will be in future days, but on this day Future Days is my favourite.

Future Days today Tago Mago tomorrow. I really love Ege Bamyasi as well but I think I prefer Soon Over Babaluma to it these days. For anyone out there who thinks that Can stopped being interesting after Damo left please think again. Babaluma is brilliant and also features some of Jaki's best work. Hypnotic and melodic Calypso Krautrock.

All three I would say. All great albums, that've grown on me over the years.

Never really liked Ege Bamyasi until I found it on LP recently and bought it, fantastic album. The nearly-minimalist organ work gives it a truly unique feel. Right now it's my favorite. as it's the only CAN album I enjoy every second of (and don't get bored, which happens with me and Tago.

Changes constantly, every single one of them has been my favorite at one point or another, today it's Tago Mago, might be Ege Bamyasi tomorrow (or Future Days).

Tago Mago is one of my very favourite album. Just so damn good.
