Huge fan of both albums.

Godbluff is one of if not the best VDGG album. Babylon is the least interesting of the first 5 ADII albums (still very enjoyable). Godbluff for me.

Godbluff I guess. I've had these LP's in my collection since the early-90's, really love both of them equally.

if "Carnival in Babylon" had its originally intended length (it was supposed to be a double album again like the two predecessors with a 27 minute version of "Hawknose Harlequin", but the record company did not want another double album) it would be a very tough choice for me. but the way it is - "Godbluff" easily

even without it.. easy vote for Carnival.. great album..  can't say the same for the other....but remember you mentioning that 27 minute version years ago and it set my loins on fire.

Here's hoping that in the age of reprints, remasters and the evil of SWilson that that version might come out on a future edition of the album. I did get the 2007 remaster of it and enjoyed it.. but had REALLY REALLY wished they had included it on there.
