Also, I only listen to full albums. Almost never compilations or just songs.
Also I tend to never cut off a song, not even when someone disturbs me. I really like to listen a song till the end. I also tend to never skip a song.

Like Logan says, some of my listening ican be somewhat seen as background (meaning, I'm not in front of my hi-fi, but maybe in the next room doing something else (cooking, for ex), but it doesn't mean I'm not listening to it. And I'm a multi-tasker, which means that I usually read (music-related or not) while listening.

I have very few commercial compilations, but I did do a fair bit of CD-r comps from bands whose albums I was getting rid off, but wanted to keep some tracks.

About 2 per day, or the same album twice. (Or three times. )

Three albums per day: 2 of progressive/alternative/post/rock/metal and 1 of hard-rock/heavy-metal/classic-rock.

The past few days, I've been listening to that new LCD Soundsystem album, over and over again. Great album, simply really great.

I have a lot of time on hands so it's usually 10-12 every day as I rarely watch TV. If I am out I play music via my ipod through the car stereo and when I am walking I have headphones. I always listen to full albums and never use playlists or such. I listen to Prog, Metal & Classic Rock but it all depends on my mood. Probably >50% Prog.

Same. Always vinyl. Very rarely will I listen to anything on the internet. I'm lucky to have grown up during the seventies and still have all my records. I have a few great compilations that I listen to though. I'll listen to up to 4 or 5 albums on a day when I'm not busy.

Around 2 or 3, I have a long commute into work that generally takes an hour depending on traffic so that gives me some spare-time to catch up on new music. At home i'm more attentive so can sit down with one of the favorites and not be disturbed.
