Major Parkinson vs Mew

Major Parkinson are the Norwegian masters of cabaret prog, but later devveloped an even more sinister music maccabre/cabaret prog whom have visual elements that takes shape of a Guillermo Del Toro movie or a Clive Barker novel. Absurd and surreal

Mew are the angelic stepsiblings to archangles so prestine and mighty it touches even the most hard boiled egg and turns ut into a smiling plum. From edgy to floating from gazing at shoes to progressive ornaments they sure share it

which of the s progressive / alternative bands do you like the most?

Like both but Mew for me.

I haven't heard a huge amount of either, but from what I know Major Parkinson. Correct me if I'm too far off-base, but I guess that Mew is somewhat in the same vein as one of my favourite progressive pop bands, Air.

Mew are a fantastic and underrated band.

Major Parkinson for me. I liked Frengers a lot when it came out but must admit that I don't listen to Mew anymore. The new Major Parkinson album on the other hand is right down my alley - even better than Twilight Cinema imo...but I do have a thing for both electronics and dystopian 80s shadings.
