The Kate Bush song you are thinking of is 'Aerial' - sounds the same but spelled differently ;)
I've never heard of Fish on Friday, this Tick Tock is the title track from an album Masters of Illusion is by a band that's not as well known as Dream Theatre, but I think still fairly well known - and it's off one of their better known albums I think |
I guess Tick Tock is Gazpacho then? (Trying to do with without t'internet..)

You guys are crushing it! Just 30 left ... some of which I thought would be guessed right away, while some (especially by TheH) are ones I wasn't sure would be guessed in this crowd as they're a bit more obscure.

At this point I'm getting curious ... how do you keep finding more? Going through your CD collection one at a time or something?

That would be a huge Task (going through 6.000 CDs). But it helps having most of your tastes bands in the same corner of my Collection. Most bands have multiple Songs in your list, so if you got one you will easily find another few. It's getting easier for me when the number of still unsolved tracks goes down.

I did indeed miss those - The Valley is not Primus in this case, although it is by a metal band.

Some ideas about the rest Ariel Famous washing powder brand in Germany? Something from a latter Anathema album? Barbares French, so I should know. I don't so it must be to Neo or to Symph for me. Nemo? Be Together Bubblemath of course! Demon Lover Well known Folk Trad. Could list 4-5 bands doing that one, none of them Prog. Hollywood UZ Jsme Doma of course! if up's the word The Word's UP and it is a cool Word. No Idea. Ki Devin (again) had an album named Ki, so most likely the title track from that one. Kontrast Something German, so should be a Home Game for me, but no idea (P.S. Listening to GÖSTA BERLINGS SAGA at the moment does help of course) Life Fantastic Band with a stupid name and a funny rat like puppet on the cover. Can't remember sh*t. Rising There is a rainbow rising, ähh no idea Sleeve Absolutely nothing up my Sleeve Teha Screams Magma all about it. Subpart of a later Magma song? The Valley Metal band? Not my strong side. Two Lighthouse Keepers I remember this one. A one (o two) man band, named after the main artist. Mostly instrumental album with a wizard (or so, guy with a staff) stumbling through some snowy landscape on the cover. Don't own it so can't look up.

Ariel, Barbares, Kontrast and Teha were all great guesses (was Kontrast even a guess?)
You got Two Lighthouse Keepers and Life Fantastic right, except without the band name

I really had no idea about "Kontrast" till I noticed I was listening to that album at the moment. (Just have to many albums to remember song titles any more). The other two I don't own but remember listening to those on YT after they got recommended to me. (I getting old :-( )

Sleeve - Thumpermonkey lives Two Lighthouse Keepers Can't remember the guys name but the album was called something like "Mad Man in the Mountains". I also seem to remember that he was a member of Prog Folkies "The Morrigan" I totally give up on "Rising".

I'm just gonna give you Two LightouseKeepers. You obviously know what it is. The guys name is Colin Mason and the album is fantastic imo.
Your knowledge is encylopedic. I wonder if it helps if I tell you that 'Rising' is by a band from Rhode Island?

I admit I don't know the song, but a (most likely) Rio Avant band from Rhode Island I would go for Alec K. Redfearn and the Eyesores?
