Hey,

I seem to remember holding an album (CD) in my hands that had the following art either at the back or at the front: it was a drawing of something like the outside of a cafe, with somebody reading a newspaper in the bottom right, with people walking a dog or perhaps just moving across the scene. All the characters are wearing gas masks. I wanna say it was a King Crimson album, but I am not sure. The cover of "power to believe" very much looks like the style, but that is not the image I recall (though it could be the image that was at the back of that record)!

..Any help? maybe any link to the image?

Thanks!

P J Crook, who painted the cover for KC's Power to Believe, has done several covers for Crimson. The 40th Anniversary Box has men reading newspapers in a cafe, but no gas mask. The only gas mask I can think of in her paintings is Power to Believe. I'll keep thinking Smile

Thank you for sending me down the P J Crook rabbit hole! Can't find the image, but maybe my memory is conflating the "power to believe" cover and the image you posted :)

I'd use google images if I were you and merely type in 'pj crook + king crimson' and see what comes up. He's made quite a few covers for Fripp and cohorts over time.

In trying to locate the image, I discovered that P J Crook is in fact a she, not a he, as I had sadly and all too quickly assumed.
