comparing Black Widow and Univers Zero seems to be like apples and oranges, but both made an album describing a black mass. which do you prefer?

Sacrifice is great but I'm a bigger fan of early UZ than most PA-related music so Heresie - but the B-side with Jack the Ripper/Vous le Saurez en Temps Voulu is how I like them the best.

I have one LP from each of these bands, which happen to be Sacrifice and Heresie !!
And I’ve spun Heresie more often than Sacrifice. So, Univers Zero gets my vote. |

I like Sacrifice, but it would be Heresie to vote against the Univers Zero.
I wonder why the "neithers" are being silent. I'm one of those who prefers to share my thoughts in topics with polls than vote in polls. Perhaps people are voting that way for religious reasons and don't feel comfortable expressing themselves (especially when any Heretics may be involved). |

I should have included Magma's "Ëmëhntëhtt-Ré" because I have the feeling it also describes a black mass

Not sure about E-Re -- something mystical, occultish, and ancient Egyptian mythologyish, and does remind me in feel of Lucifer Rising (Kenneth Anger's film) to an extent (the film more than the Bobby Beausoleil soundtrack). Maybe it is quite Magickal and Thelemic. Vander loves to draw on different mythologies to create the eras of his world.
Mort Garson (Lucifer) has Black Mass, but it's electronic. Igor Wakhevitch's Materia Prima gives me that feel for the music. Coven's Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls has a track called Satanic Mass which has an actual black mass in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wzh9wqCIjdQ |
