DSoTM and Selling England will get their share of votes, and rightly so. However, I have been listening to the remixed A Passion Play far more lately than any of the other choices.

Wow! When I was the first to vote for APP this morning I figured I would be the only one. 5 votes!

Too many albums I like equally here so I won't vote. Tales, while not the best of the bunch is probably the most under rated compared to the others.

Just wondering where are all the Tales-lovers? Cause only two votes? Also itīs suprising Dark side is on the lead, over KC, Genesis & Yes. Result from that sad "Is DSotM overrated"-thread?

Dark Side, Selling, or Larks for me. Went with DSOTM...

He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

Voted for A Passion Play.
APP = Tales = BSS > Larks > SEBTP >>> DSOTM > OnS |
|
Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

SEbtP > DSotM > BSS >> Larks > APP > TftO. Haven't heard OnS, but I doubt if it stands a chance with three of my long time favourites in this poll.

My 2 favorites on that list are KC and Genesis.....I'll go with Selling England.....only because Firth of Fifth is on that one.

Great year. Many of these albums are the best, or in some cases, second-best albums, by these artists.

Really don't like voting against my man Frank. And I also don't like voting against Brain Salad Surgery as I consider it a top 5 prog album! - should have more votes here. But, I had to vote for Selling England.. I consider it THE prog album, period.

DSOTM gets no respect because it is the closest to pop music in an era when prog was at its pinnacle! BSS has the sublime KE9. SEBTP is the finest symphonic prog disc ever recorded and TFTO is eighty minutes of esoteric lyrics and superlative musicianship. DSOTM is short well produced pop songs the only one of which I like is any colour you like. Can't believe it's winning on a PROG poll!
