I myself always look forward to it! The element of violin is largely what makes Larks' Tongues part one so distinctive and unique in my ears.
The truth is, I have had Larks' for over a year now but I probably haven't listened to it more than, oh, I don't know, twenty times maybe? See, Larks´ is one of three records in my collection that I have this strange respect to, in that I won't listen to it casually or letting it spin several times in a row for example. The other two are Close To The Edge and Wish You Were Here. I treat all of them as a musical delicacy for special occasions only, which hopefully means that I will never be able to play them to death... I just want to "preserve the colour" of these records, to resort to laundry terms

Ilove King Crimson music And Larks' In Tongues Aspic is very good
album< but I don't think that it's best of them. It is to hard
decide wich album is numero uno I like most In The Court of The Crimson
King, Red,........ I like some new albums of KC like Thrak or The Power
to Belive too
From Larks......... my favourite tracks are Exiles, and Easy Money

I absolutely love LTIA, and after all these years,
I'm not sure why. Maybe it is the investment I put into it.
I must've listened to it about 50 times before I started to really
appreciate it. However, there are parts that I find drag a little
too much, such as the violin solo in LTIA Pt. 1, and the Talking Drum
sounds a little drawn out. In addition, the first part of Easy
Money before the instrumental has never appealed to me.
In spite of these shortcomings, there is something that strongly
draws me to this disc. Something about the total package, right
up to the fascinating album cover, has always intrigued me.

There's something I can fully relate to. I have done maybe 10 listens so
far, it's really good, but it hasn't really clicked with me yet. I just
feel it has a huge potential to grow on me. One of my favorites of KC's
discgraphy. As you said the whole package makes the thing and the
artwork is excellent!
Red still being my favorite

What about In the wake of poseidon???????? That album was great, as well as the others that seem to be the most popular (red, Larks, ITCOCK)

Listening to Discipline as I write this but of the three listed -
Red. Abosolutely fantastic. Larks is a close second and
ITCOTCK is right behind it. All three are masterpieces!

Larks' Tongues is my favoirte, maybe because it was the first KC album I heard. But really, it seems to me to be the most challenging album KC ever did, and one of the most challenging albums in prog in general.
