What do you all think of the new spyware related advertising under the --Advertisement (beta)-- banner at the top of the page? Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

The Miracle- I am just noticing that myself, and was going to post about this as well. Contacting the fasttrack server seems to add quite a bit more time to the page load.

It's not a bug. M@X and Rony have sanctioned this and included the scripting to make them work, so not really a bug.

On the home page now as well, and the first entry, like fasttrack now owns the site. Here's me thinking this place was about music, not money. Time to go!

I don't like them but presumably it brings some benefit to M@x and Rony.

In Firefox go to Tools, Options, Web Features. Check "Block Pop-ups" if you don't like them. Only automated pop-ups, not ones you click youself. Check "Images for originating web site only" to leave the space for ads blank.

But then you won't see all your images in your signatures also. Ever thought of them, giantic as they are in some people's signatures, being more annoying than the few ads that bring Progarchives the money it needs to give you the space to complain and whine about it? Get a life.
