I missed this one too and loads of great albums to pick from but I went with Sinkadus this time.

Another bump with a vote to Haikara' self titled debut, the best ever Finnish prog album.

Thumbs Up to Weidorje, Höyry-kone, Frumpy and Osanna, too.

Clearlight is in a class by itself, so it's that.

I'll give a patriotic vote for England's Garden Shed marmalade album, putting them in joint first place. Smile

Its a hard one. But I´ve never been blown away at first listening like with Mice And Rats In The Loft (pure folky dancy tuney ditty eargasm (you´re probably respecting me less after that one xD). Only one comes near that was probably my prog introduction Tools The Patient (never heard such godlike noises until that day)

Honorable Mentions:
The ultimate prog masturbation album Eros by Dün
The lovely one with A girl named you ; )
Recently Discovered PALEPOLI!!
And extra honour to braintickets CO for the "another universe part thats really just like what its called for me"

2. Osanna
3. SBB

Interesting eclectic selection! My picks: Maxophone, Haikara and Frumpy. I voted for the latter.

I must admit I don't know some of them. The ones I know, I'll pick SBB and Asia Minor, great music on these albums.

So many awesome albums to choose from, but I think "Memento..." by SBB is my favorite beacause of just how heartwarming it is.

I was intentioned to abstain, but the Shub Niggurath album with the vocalist out of one quarter of tone to make it disarmonic is the best horrorific interpretation of HP Lovecraft's tail that I've ever heard, followed by Azrael's Azatoth.
Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.

OMG! You're missing out on some of the best music ever recorded. This is a great list which is why it was impossible for me to pick one.
Depending on one´s taste...at the moment I am not very interested typical sounding seventies prog, I mean with typical instrumentation, guitar, bass, synths, maybe some brass or woodwinds. If some of those albums are into acoustic direction (for example something like Comus) or into twisted, Beefheart-direction, tell me and I will listen it. For example I have heard some other Sinkadus, not that album and that what I heard didn´t wake my interest at all. Also I have heard Brainticket first album and find it quite boring.

Maybe check out Jan Dukes de Grey to start.

I love most of the albums on this list, but will give the first vote for Dun's Eros.

Thanx. Some clips I just listened not sounding bad, so maybe I will listen that Jan Dukes as a whole. Reminding me a little bit of Strawbs, specially vocals...
