Hawkwind is out, a very cool album but not one of my faves from the Hawks, but the other three are my favourite albums from each of these bands. So, the favourite of the favourites..........?
Quite possibly Three Friends, but near impossible to honestly commit to ticking the box.........
Think I’ll return to Cannibal Corpse for now.

although Hawkwind is one of my very favourite bands, I'm not a big listener of live albums.
I've never been into Gentle Giant.  I did make a point of checking out a lot of their stuff a few months ago, including Three Friends and it wasn't to my taste.  although that is probably largely down to me tending to prefer contemporary progressive rock to albums from the 70s when checking out new (to me) music.
And although A plague of Lighthouse keepers is a great track,  I was never keen on the rest of Prawn Hearts.
So Mirage it is for me

Space Ritual is mesmerizingly wonderful! Three Friends is pretty great, working all day is somewhat simple but funny. Pawn Hearts is great, but VDGG albums all run together into one big cake of great songs that I cannot differentiate between. I have to check out Camel. I think I had Moonmadness but I could not get into it.

No, it's not a mirage; Camel is far and away the cream of this crop.

I've listened to and enjoyed all of those for decades. The Camel and GG albums have stood the test of time better though (to me, at least).

Charming... I've been to a Hawkwind-concert and yeah man it was totally packed with alpha males (surrounded by smoking hot rock chicks - obviously) ready to grab life by the horns, throat or those big balls you americans are so obsessive about... Seriously though I somewhat agree. Beware prog-nerds:

Anyway I got:

1. VdGG
2. Camel
3. Gentle Giant
4. Hawkwind Tongue

-but don't worry bout me I'm blessed with looks, brains and self-confidence + I listen to Thin Lizzy n' stuff

Mirage vs. Pawn Hearts, tough one. I'll pick VDGG despite being very keen on Camel currently.
