8 groups, 32 countries, each represented by one and only one band. Countries selected were those that had more albums with, at least, 30 ratings. Bands selected to represent these countries were chosen by historic relevance and/or personal preference. First and SECOND place will advance next round. No need to even talk about my slam dunk #1 choice although I do very much like Aphrodite's Child and Focus. Looks like I need to check out Blue Effect.

If it was SBB instead of Focus, choosing would be easier for me. I also like Aphrodite's Child and Blue Effect, but not as much. I guess I'll vote for Blue Effect, to give them a small chance to come second.
