"Fly On A Windshield" kicks my posterior every time I hear it! The bass pedals get me stomping around the room like Godzilla on Tokyo. Really love "Back In NYC" too and don't feel that song gets enough love.

I love Carpet Crawlers, actually the second song I heard of Genesis (after Follow You Follow Me), and the first one that made me think this band could be for me.
Fly on a Windshield is second to none on this album, but it already has enough votes.

From this list it's a tie between In the Cage and The Colony of Slippermen. This makes it the easier to choose my overall favourite off this album: Riding the Scree.

I'm everything but a Genesis fan, but I really like "In The Cage".

It's hard to choose, being that it's an album that I've experience as a whole, not for it's individual songs. Maybe The Carpet Crawlers, or In The Cage, but it will take me a while to decide.

Voted for fly, but I've always been a fan of Grand Parade...

I could’ve voted for Fly on a Windshield, but I went for the ‘other’ choice. Probably Supernatural Anesthetist or the Lamia would be my ideal favorite, but really the whole third side is my true favorite in the end.

Sad to see Slippermen not getting any love, but my vote has to go to Carpet Crawlers

From the list, Carpet Crawlers edges out In the Cage - but the Lamia and then Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats is a superb, atmospheric way to end Side 3! I've got a soft spot for Lilywhite Lilith, Here Comes the Supernatural Anaesthetist..... Damn, I'll stop before I list every song! A great ensemble album where the whole is greater than its parts in many ways.

Indeed, those are some of the best ones from that album. I also like "silent sorrow in empty boats,""the lamia,""Lillywhite lilith,""riding the scree,""hairless heart" and "counting out time."

I guess out of those I'll vote for "in the cage."
