Iron Man - Black Sabbath

Just thought about this in hinsight of Stan Lees passing, and Sabbath have a song about an Iron Man, its easy to jump to the conclusion that it is about Marvels Iron Man.
But based from the lyrics of the song, it seemsmore in line with the story about Iron Man/ Iron Giant. In both theme and the giants personality. 

The book is from 1968 and os authered by a british author. It might have been in Ozzys line of thought and by that time interest in sci-fi themes for it to be the ibfluance. 
What do other think of the matter?
