Voted for my fellow Italians of Yugen - one of the best modern RIO/Avant bands.

Oh, dear. I seem to be voting mostly for bands from France in these groups. In the next stage, I'll have some tough decisions to make.

Here it is, the proverbial group of death. These are all fantastic and wish they had been spread out a little bit. I'm going to go with Poil just because of the newness Factor and I'm fairly sure that Zappa is going to run away with it.
But damm...Yugen. Edited by Tapfret - December 11 2018 at 10:59 |

Oh jeez - and I just mentioned how Simon Steensland was my first RIO/AP album in another thread. Really hard not to vote for him but ultimately that one album is the only one that I really love. Poil, I love everything they do and eagerly await more.
Hard not to vote for Shining or Yugen though, jeez, this is the toughest one yet. I'm probably an odd man out here, but the only one of these not in the running for me is Zappa...
