3 perfect albums in my book. Which one do you enjoy the most?

Talk Talk's one is a revolution and a landmark. No chance for albums that are just very good against that one.

XTC every day of the week. Can't stand the other two bands at all.

Love, love, love the last two Talk Talk records (Laughing Stock is perhaps my favorite record of all time), but never understood the hype for The Colour of Spring which I find to be a good-but-not-great-album. Tears for Fears, in general, I find to be good but not great. Skylarking on the other hand is one of my favorite 80s pop albums, along with Hounds of Love and Purple Rain.

XTC is the most important non-prog band in the world to me. I also love Talk Talk, but not quite as much. Tears for Fears was also really important at the time, but hasn't followed me into my 50s.
