All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

Some of these latest polls are too hard to pick. You're comparing one five star album to another five star album.

Moonmadness for me. It's more even keel, which some might not like. I find Mirage too schizophrenic, with moments of quiet splendour and then frenetic passages. I still like it though

Oh this one is easier for me. Mirage by a small, but noticeable margin.

I would have said Moonmadness, if you'd asked a few years back, but I think overall Mirage is sightly better. Moonmadness has Lunar Sea my favourite Camel track) though.

He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

Lunar Sea tips the balance, so: Moonmadness.. Plus, it was my first Camel album, and the first album you hear from a favorite band is always the best...
