Winter Owl is a project that guitar player Luigi Iamundo starts on its own at the beginnings of 2014, after his previous band Allegro Vivo Bis splits up.

He began to rearrange some of the songs he wrote when he was a metalhead teenager (such as Jolly Roger, Bad Dream) and also began composing, arranging and recording in his home studio some new songs.

In 2016 the songs were musically ready, but they needed lyrics, melody and a great singer. After a little searching, Luigi's brother (Antonino) suggested to call Marco Vantini (http://www.marcovantini.com/) talented metal singer. So he called him and a great partnership began, Marco was exactly the kind of voice for the job. From November 2016 to May 2017 Marco recorded the vocals in his home studio. Due to Marco's personal problems the partnership eventually ended in a friendly way.

The debut EP "Cursed Sanctuary" initially printed in 100 copies includes 5 songs and it's be available to stream and download in all online stores from 11 January 2019.

Influences
Ayreon, Dream Theater, Nightwish, Toto, Peter Gabriel, Kansas, Haken, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Rhapsody, Symphony X

Is it because they classified as Prog Power? I have the album and it's more to the prog side than a power. Worth a try?
