Frank Zappa. Followed by Tull. Just put a piece of black tape over Rush's name.

Easily Frank Zappa. Distant second, Tull. Rush not even in the same ZIP code...

Used to be somewhat of a Rush fan, even saw them live in the spring of '94. It was a good show, they definitely didn't disappoint. And I've heard some Tull songs on the radio, pretty good. But 62 albums... and most of it high quality. I could listen to Frank play the guitar for hours and he makes me laugh. Easy vote here. The only artists I MIGHT vote for over him would be like The Beatles or Yes.

Me too. I don't dislike Frank but I've only heard a handful of his albums. I like Rush way more(and more than Tull too). I'm sure those who like Frank Zappa more than Rush haven't heard many Rush albums either so it all evens out. However, I do plan on getting more FZ at some point although I don't think it will change my mind about Rush. Rush have excellent musicianship, great songwriting and arrangements and very intelligent and often thought provoking lyrics. What's not to like?

Zappa over Tull, with Rush a very distant third.

I love Tull. I really really love Tull. But Zappa is genius.
