A live recording from 1975 of Styx still with J.C. was unearthed and put out on YouTube, containing some of their (in my opinion) best tracks, including "Man of Miracles" (which Muse totally ripped off) and "Serpent is Rising", which is Heavy Metal if I've ever heard it.
Definitely worth checking out if you are a big Styx fan, like myself, and have been craving some of their early stuff on record. It is also amazing just how tight their harmonies were even live. |

Presumably from watching the show, this popped up in my YT recommendations. It's a little "behind the scenes" reel from the Paradise era, but probably stuff Styx fans have not seen before and would enjoy. John P seems like he was a good egg. |

I have several of the early Styx lp's on Wooden Nickel label and then the later ones on A&M...up to Grand Illusion.
I see them all the time when I hunt for old vinyl.....but I live just south of Chicago so it's no surprise.
