Schizoid Man almost always wins unless it is pitted against another KC track.

I normally would go with King Crimson, but not on this one. Firth of Fifth takes my vote, but just by a hair.

Firth. It's my second favorite Genesis track right after Supper's Ready. It's funny to think that at one point my favorite Genesis track was "home by the sea and second home by the sea."

Both masterpieces, but I gave the edge to Genesis.

Firth of Fifth, but this seems like a strange pair. I would rather have put Firth of Fifth against Epitaph or Starless... and then I don't know for which I would have voted (perhaps against Epitaph, since I believe Starless would take the poll easily).

Tough call. Today I went for 21st Century. Tomorrow, who knows...

No contest for me. From Tony's solo piano beginning to the Hackett solo to Gabriel's angelic finale.
KC is great, but my heart is with Genesis.

Good poll, because both songs are at the top of the quality for those groups.
They are both excellent, I prefer 21st Schizoid because it is more original: rock, avantguarde, free jazz. Firth is more conventional, but wonderful instrumental part with great solos.

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

I voted both equally because I prefer the live version of Schizoid Man over the live version of Firth and the studio version of Firth over the studio version of Schizoid Man

You're killin' me here ! How to choose?? Damn ! While I absolutely love the piano intro to FoF, on the whole I'll go for 21st CSM. Greg absolutely nails it on bass and vocals on this tune.

Firth Of Fifth (just perfect in every single way) Schizoid Man has got some fantastic playing but a horrible production (fix the damn drum sound!)
