I saw an album listed as the "most popular album"(in 24 hours)on here not too long ago. I listened to a very brief sound sample and liked it but now the album is not on here and I don't remember the name of the band or album. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It had a pretty cool cover too. I'm not talking about Quantum Fantay. I believe it was the one on there right before that one.

Some of the releases that were showing on the Archives around the same time were
Unimother 27 - "Chrysalis"
Farmhouse Odyssey - "Fertile Ground"
Hermina - "Night Echoes"
Into the Great Divide - "A Life in Six Acts"
Elephant 9 - Psychedelic Backfire (Volume I and II were listed separately)

Could it be one of those?  They were announced on the Archives on the same day.

This one was released on April 15.  I think I already added it to April's New Release list, but if not, I will do so.

Nope. Not one of those. I would know it if I saw it. I'm pretty sure it was a new title though since it has zero reviews and I think it might have appeared in the list of top 50 bands at the top of the main page.

Like I said though it wasn't technically under new releases it was under most popular album(24 hrs).

Thanks for listing these.  North Sea Radio Orchestra' s album, which is a re-imagining of Robert Wyatt's "Rock Bottom", was not entered into the Archives yet, but I will do that now.  Panzerpappa has been added to the list.

Thanks!

Thanks for your list, I haven't had much patience to explore new music lately so I've been listening to some of the albums you reviewed. The new Karakorum was really great, I remember they were on the charts when I joined the PSIKE team. Good to see they evolved even more.

There's a new Papir? I barely heard their last one Ermm

By the way, if you enjoyed Pyramidal, I think you'd really like "Retales" from El Circulo de Willis as well ;)

Karakorum was great and is still a top contender for one of the best this year.

Thanks for the recommendation.  I will definitely check it out.

I agree!!  Your inclusion of the category (symphonic, post-math etc.) is VERY helpful!!  This list shall be cut & pasted for future reference!!  Cheers, Chuck
