King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard is possibly a good addition on the site on the Ecletic Prog Sub-genre.

They have been doing concept albums in very odd-time songs, with psychedelic-based but heavily influenced by folk, metal, garage rock, and even the canterbury scenes musical strucutres.

You can find many links for their album on youtube, and if you listen to the first 30 seconds of any of them you'll realize they are very, very prog-influenced.

The members of the band are the following:

  • Stu Mackenzie
  • Ambrose Kenny-Smith
  • Joey Walker
  • Cook Craig
  • Lucas Skinner
  • Michael Cavanagh
  • Eric Moore

They have been cleared for addition in the Psych Prog category, though I do wonder what is taking so long for them to be added.
I use they/them pronouns (feel free to ask me about this!)

Check out my music on my bandcamp!
