I ain't bragging, but I'm the twang bar king . . .
The damage that we do is just so powerfully strong we call it love

The damage that we do just goes on and on and on but not long enough.

I would probably vote for 90125, #248 on the list of top albums of 1983.

I understand. I have an intense love for India Rubber Man, such a poignant lyric. Hackett to Bits is a colorful instrumental with lots of changes, highly compact and efficiently arranged (too compact?). Weightless is basically not really a Prog song, but it's something of a guilty pleasure for me. The rest I could maybe do without on a desert island. I just don't want to vote against India Rubber Man, so I haven't voted yet.

The only one I know is Script, and I do love it. No vote, though.

Shame there are no other options . IQ released a great album that year but hey ho. Never cared for Script . Don't know the Adrian Belew album and Steve Hackett has probably made 10 better albums than that one.

This doesn't present 83 as a great year. :p

Marillion, easily.

MacGyver can do a super guitar solo with a broom and an elastic band. Can you do better?
