Since it's only 377 days until Halloween, I thought I'd do a little Goblin poll featuring just three theme tracks off film soundtracks (it's easier to check out when few are listed, and it is easier on slower internet connection speeds too).
Please try to choose one of these, but also feel free to mention anything else Goblin, or anything related (such as Fabio Frizzi). Goblin - "Profondo Rosso" Goblin - "Suspiria" Goblin "Tenebre" Edited by Logan - October 20 2019 at 17:51 |

I'm a huge Argento/Goblin fan. Profondo Rosso is my favorite horror soundtrack track of all time.

Tenebre, though it's very close. All great pieces.

Thanks for the responses.
I might do an accompanying Goblin poll ere long with different choices, although I doubt it would get much recognition, which is fine by me. If I wanted to do a popular one, then I'd just do the umpteenth Yes vs. Genesis poll (with my own twist which would plausibly involve some feeble venture into absurdist humour that may function well in my peculiar cognitive perception but not textually, at least when it comes to the majority of perceptions which draw different associations). Brevity tends not to be strength much to the consternation of some. There were several more that I fancied accommodating in this poll, but finding a self-satisfactory balance between economy and comprehensiveness (trying neither to be terse nor seemingly exorbitant) can be challenging for me. I am pleased that all three got votes as I do love all three of these. :) |

As a lover of All Things Goblin, it's very close. Still, I voted for "Profondo Rosso," because come on...that bassline!

Can't say I'm an expert on hagravens, hag-ravens, or indeed ha-gravens (some of the best graven ha-has could be horror-themed epitaphs such as "Beware of the Zombie" tombstones), nor Elder Scrolls/ Skyrim, but I can say that I much preferred The Witch (2015) to that Blair Witch.

The Witch (2015) was okay but the I prefer the more evil ones and that Blair bitch is quite maleficent and terrifying.

I tend to appreciate atmospheric folk horror the most which tends to be more creepy than terrifying. That said, I do like quite a wide variety of horror films. Of horror films of pretty recent years, I love Hereditary, The Babadook, and Apostle. I love various psychological horror films, and a lot to do with cults and the occult as I tend to be interested in such subject matter.
