I thought this would be a good one and I don't think it's been done in a while.

Wise After the Event to me is far superior to "The Geese".

There are very few albums I would vote for ahead of Voyage.

Of these two: Voyage of the Acolyte. It would be way harder if this one was matched against Wise after the Event.

Voyage by far---I like Anthony's music but it is a bit mellow for me.

Both excellent and quite different records...I'll go with Geese.

I certainly cannot choose. I love both these albums so much, I cannot pick one over the other.

Acolyte , greatest prog solo album ever accept for maybe Six Wives and Fish Out Of Water. ( that might make an interesting poll though guessing its been done already!) I do have Geese but don't really like it unfortunately.

Well Voyage is the clear winner, but which way the wind blows is possibly my favorite song of the two.

Phillips here. But I'm everything but a Genesis fan.

This was really tough. I love both albums. I went with Voyage, though. It's uncanny how Hackett can play a straightforward pentatonic minor scale and make it sound exotic.

I love Hackett but am I the only one who thinks Acolyte is slightly overrated?

I think parts of side one are a little bit repetitious and the second half of Shadow of Heirophant could be reduced by about 2 or 3 minutes but other than that it's great.
