^^ Seeing and hearing The Avengers intro again brings back fond memories of Patrick MacNee & Diana Rigg. I enjoyed The New Avengers too, with the theme by Laurie Johnson.

Such a great theme indeed.

My favourite though is this 4 minutes of Hammond Organ magic

^^ I enjoyed hearing the World in Action theme again. It's nice to hear the full-length version in its entirety.
Most regular viewers of the show probably wouldn't be aware that the theme tune is classic prog. Smile

The full Harry South version. (BTW Harry South also features on both ELP's Works albums so there is a prog connection!)

SUPERCAR    The first Gerry Anderson show to feature SUPERMARIONATION in 1961-1962 and the first puppetry series with theme music by Barry Gray and vocals by Australian Don Spencer who's still alive and well at the age of 82. Thumbs Up

Click on "Insert Movie" icon, copy in the video reference from YouTube (you don't need the whole URL).

The Protectors - another Gerry Anderson show (not a lot of people know that) and a classic TV theme from the video vaults, starring Robert Vaughn (Napoleon Solo) and Nyree Dawn Porter. Heart

Tony Christie - Avenues and Alleyways

I watched "Godzilla: Final Wars" recently and it plays like a cross between "Thunderbirds" and "Power Rangers" but the most interesting thing about it is the contributions to the excellent soundtrack by Keith Emerson.
