Starship Trooper if only for the majestic Wurm section.

Really hard choice, but "Yours is no disgrace" takes my vote, but just by a fraction of a hair.

The start of Yours is No Disgrace or the end of Starship Trooper? Hmmm...... the former just edges it for me.

Great album, but got to be "Starship Trooper". Adore the Wurm section especially.

Perpetual Change
Completely burnt out on TIND and Trooper. I played The Yes Album for the first time in ages a few months ago, and only Perpetual Change knocked me out, since I hadn't overplayed it in the past. |

They're all brilliant but I've gone for PC this time, it has that wonderful middle section with the two tunes in different time signatures.

It is "Würm", not "Wurm", and actually refers to an ice age: Edited by BaldFriede - January 13 2020 at 13:26 |

You know it's funny.. but many times I tend to choose 'Yours is no Disgrace' in other polls, I absolutely love it. But on Yes Album is hard for me to go against 'Starship Trooper'.. I think it gives such an imprint to the record. Also I prefer 'A Venture' over 'Perpetual Change', though...

Nostalgic ties to I've Seen All Good People, so that gets the vote.

Anyone else ever thought that A Venture could almost be a Genesis song? It just has that feel to it.
