I haven't heard Time Machine, the only title missing in my Rush collection. R30/40 are both pretty solid, same goes for Clockwork tour and I quite enjoy Snakes live but rarely return to it. The sheer power and intensity of Rio, on the other hand, is near unbeatable so I'll have to go with that one. Edited by Barbu - January 17 2020 at 09:24 |

This is not an era of Rush I need to hear. Thus, I've only heard Rush in Rio and 30th Anniversary, of which I prefer the latter.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

Same with me. By this time, things were not that positive for Rush, to say the least. They surely were a great, fantastic band, but their later period was not a good one.

I voted for The Time Machine Tour, because I went to see them play in San Antonio, TX. That was a dream come true to me, an old Guatemalan Rush fan, and it ended up being the only time I would ever see them
Rush in Rio is pretty good, though, although it's the energy of that audience that steals the show |

As far as original music? Vapor Trails is outstanding, the best of the three studio albums from 2002-on.

Sadly, no. At least not a tightly knit community. Perhaps a few here and there, but I don't know of any forums or any other place to exchange musical or artistic opinions. Dream Theater gave a show in 2014 +/-, which I wasn't able to attend due to other commitments, but I heard there was a bit of an audience there. No other prog band has ever set foot here beside them, mainly, I think, because of a lack of fans. Edited by judahbenkenobi - January 18 2020 at 21:16 |
