Recently gave them the attention they deserve and fell in love. (Didn't know about the panhead thing! I learned something new today!)

Welcome to the site, Mr. Lilith!

The re-emerging SGM have launched a kickstarter fund to support the new album, film and tour

Combined PA memes. The "tossing cutlery down a stairwell" part came from Dean's interpretation of RIO/Avant, not sure if some or all.

"The Panheads have taken over PA" was a Barney rant because not enough people were gushing over The Tangent.

Funnily enough, I just got into them (well, for 4 months at least). They (well, technically Frank Zappa) got me into Avant Garde music/compositions

By the time I discovered them their albums were difficult and expensive to get hold of.

No greater entertainment value than a $4 Idiot Flesh show. They were utterly amazing.

TC - are you familiar with the many Carla Kihlstedt related bands? Rabbit Rabbit Radio, Book Of Knots, Cosa Brava, Tin Hat?

Oh my goodness....so much to explore from these amazing musicians.
