More RPI polling!
Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

An easy choice for me: I definitely prefer MR's Zarathustra to Maxophone's self-titled.
Just a fanboy passin' through.

I'm with you on this one. Though I like both, I certainly prefer MR's Zarathustra.

Maxophone over the most over-rated, non-proggy "classic" RPI album ever! (though Palepoli ranks a close second).

I'm gonna go with Maxophone. I think Zarathustra's suite can be a little less than impressive and much of the record is kind of samey (though I do love it). Maxophone's self titled is much more diverse and I think lives up to the hype.

Maxophone by a mile..  I like the more classic symphonyc, melodic type..  if also with rock, that gets points. The dynamism, and that charismatic voice… and backing vocals.

Museo, more on the jazzy side…  that I also like by the way.

Though I have to say I know Maxophone since the 90's and am very fond of them.. Museo I met them here at PA and am still fairly illiterate on them.

After this round... still Maxophone.  Big smile

I did buy the Maxophone album out of the great ratings it's got, but didn't really do much for me... I just couldn't get into it.

Maxophone.
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.
