Please note: the Supper's Ready option refers to all the guitar solos on Supper's Ready.

I'll go with Firth of Fifth, but there are many amazing solos by Hackett in Genesis' music.

Another vote for Firth of Fifth, which I too chose before even seeing the rest of the list.

An incredible solo, which no matter how often I hear it never fails to send a chill up my spine. But some credit has to go to Michael Rutherford's timely bass pedal deployment..!

I love them all and show what an important equal member Steve was (in spite of what Banks says LOL)

Could have voted Firth but Voted Fly on a Windshield ---but also love his finishing up Epping and All in a Mouses night very nicely!

I mean, you've put in Firth Of Fifth so my hands are bound, but otherwise those weeping licks at the end of Supper's Ready get me every time. Cry
Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

Firth of Fifth is the only solo I know that can match the one on Lunar Sea.

Firth of Fifth here, as well.

Latimer pretty much smokes all his competition in that track; I'll always give to edge to Camel on Lunar Sea, they need the recognition Genesis always, always gets with half the effort LOL Wink.

If I'm honest Hackett's tone has always driven me nuts, but his playing is excellent.

I went with Firth of Fifth as well...

ALTHOUGH I would have preferred "Blood on The Rooftops".

Ya forgot that one and it's a goody.

Yeah missing some of the Trick and Wind solos (scarce as they are). But the real crime is missing my favorite: Here Comes The Supernatural Anaesthetist. Great solo.

You have a point there with Here Comes The Supernatural Anaesthetist - but I hadn't noticed any post LLDOB solos by Hackett. I could be mixing them up with synths.

Out of these, The Musical Box. I'd vote for Ripples if I could though.
