You mean you never get in the mood these days for something that is like a "weird deep purple?" Wink That's how I think of them anyway. Sometimes you just want to rock out and don't feel like listening to Sabbath or Zeppelin for the millionth time. 

Well..  now that you put it like that, I do play the first one,  US version , now and then. And there are some decent tracks on the first 5 lp's, but there are many other things to play......






Yeah, have you heard the band Black Bonzo? They were a Swedish band from maybe fifteen years ago who had that Uriah Heep sound down pat but maybe put a slightly modern prog spin on it. Worth checking out.

Both are great bands, with different styles, but at the end of the day, I prefer Uriah Heep.

I like Traffic. But I love Uriah Heep.
Salisbury, The Magician's Birthday and Demons and Wizards are all quite superb.

I kind of like the mix-up of accessible songs and Proggier workouts through many of their albums. In that way, they are similar to Traffic.
