New band by Marillion keyboardist.

Album due out in November. A taster track has been released, and clearly appropriate for Crossover.

It will be fine if you can provide their biography or something.

Thanks.

it's Mark Kelly of Marillion side project. All we need is the line up when the albums comes out.

Less neo prog than I thought. I like them, though, the song you posted is good.

The website is at; https://marathonsounds.com/

My apologies for not providing it before. I was in a bit of a rush. The website gives the line-up and a brief history of the band.

When they are accepted, I will provide the team with a brief bio, but I will contact Lucy at Marillion for a band bio and a possible interview as I did with Edison’s Children.

With respect, I would ask that the team put this through without waiting for the full album release. It is a no-brainer for inclusion, given the identity of the lead protagonist and the sampler track released.

Hi Crossover colleagues. Bumped thread.

I received the cd and dvd on preorder last Friday. The official release date is 27 November, and I would like the addition process to be expedited as soon as is possible.

Is there any way I could send you a digital link for eval purposes only? You would have to show me how to do this, I am afraid.

I have been listening to this marvel 3 times in a row. First time, not paying attention but enough to go for another loop. Glad I did, wow! Very good album indeed , will become a fave , me thinks!
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

Anyone who enjoys the more melodic end of the prog spectrum needs to look into this album a little more. It's a really excellent piece of work indeed, and people of the aforementioned ilk will be very glad indeed that they took the trouble to give it a spin.

Edit: Album streaming links to save people searching for them:

The evaluation is already in progress Steve, with one 'yes' vote cast so far, and the other two team members still to vote. You can check up on how things are developing at https://progfreak.com/Mark-Kelly-s-Marathon-177515.html?path=pa/recentSmile

The guitar work by itself worth the album, let alone the great keyboards, vocals, etc.
Inexplicably, not yet in PA...

Keishiro San, I have the cd uploaded to my computer. If you can tell me a way of sharing it with you, I will happily do so.

This album is a shoe-in. Solo album from a Prog artist in a bona fide Prog band.
The vocalist is great, too.
