For a very long time, I thought this picture of David Jackson (bottom right - I was unable to locate just this picture) was a double-exposure. I didn't realise that he was playing two saxophones.

I was thinking about thinking but it really didn't get me very far.

Here are a few I've shot over the years. Mostly using 400 ASA slide film and a 400mm lens, so far from perfect but still a little interesting IMHO.

Can we have a prog photo minus a band or a member/instrument from it? Is it possible?! LOL

Well, I have no idea. I thought I could find the answer in this thread based on the title.
And the answer must be no. Smile

Now that you metioned it, does anyone know what happened to this guitar? Like, did it go for auction or something? He played it in such a way it sounded like a 12-string most of the time. Probably one of the best acoustic guitar models ever built (and of course we see one of the best players LOL too).

This guitar was built on purpose by Tony Zemaitis for Greg Lake in 1976, but reality is that Greg never really liked its sound, and one day he lost his temper and smashed it. His favourite acoustic guitar was always the Gibson J-200.
For many years people kept asking him about "the heart guitar" and eventually he asked Gibson to build him a customized J-200 inspired by the Zemaitis "heart". Here we see him with both versions

This is one of the many curiosities I talk about in my book "The Musical Instruments of Progresive Rock; An Illustrated Guide"

I know this is common, but I've always been a die hard Todd Rundgren fan and I find this photo very inspiring.
