I'm proud to vote for the late Peter Banks' album "Reduction."
His last works were absolute gems of virtuoso guitar performance!! Banks started using the Ibanez Jem guitar, which was developed by Steve Vai - Peter's soloing actually channels Vai's work. |

Good advice. I always make an effort to listen to all of the albums in a poll now before posting, even if it's only snippets of albums, and having listened to most of the albums in this poll three years down the line, I'm predictably voting for Rick Wakeman again.
