A very special band for me that has released many epic and captivating tracks but which one is the forum users' favorite? Mine would be either 'Russia On Ice' or 'Anesthetize' but I am yet to decide.

Gravity Eyelids is probably the worst PT song ever.

Would have voted for 'Even Less'..there is a 13.00' long alternate version on 'Recordings' but from that list chose 'Don't Hate Me' though 'Dark Matter' and 'Arriving...' are just as good imho.....
but PT simply don't do bad songs and like Crimson...some songs are simply better than others.

The 'worst' song would be just about anything from The Incident but ..even then they aren't 'bad' songs .

In fact, 'The Incident' is what I voted for because I knew it won't get many/any votes.

We'll have to agree to disagree then...but that's ok since it's all subjective as has been said many times before here. btw...The Incident has the second lowest rating here behind the first one which is really a collection of singles and ep's. |

The Incident really is not that bad in my opinion. I would rate it higher than the first two albums, and maybe even Sky Moves Sideways. But I am not as stimulated by the the Psych/Space ones. I recognize that Sky Moves is probably a more important album though.

Fear Of A Blank Planet is my favourite PT song and quite possibly one of my all time top 10 songs, so I went for that. But in my mind Anesthetize is more of an ”epic”. It goes through many different moods in a way that epics do, more so than Fear Of A Blank Planet.

Voted for Arriving Somewhere, but a personal favorite of mine is The Sky Moves Sideways Alternate version. Also Moonloop 40 min version :D I also really like The Incident album, IMO is a lot better than the acclaimed Fear of a Blank Planet :P
