It's Close to the Edge again, but my second favourite Pink Floyd album wins by a Fragile margin over my fourth favourite Yes album.

Close to the Edge is an important prog album. The Dark Side of the Moon is a milestone work of art in western culture.

DSOTM is fantastic, but has nothing that compares to the track CTTE, so Yes get the vote.

A better fight would have been WYWH, but Yes would still win.

It's very close, since I love both bands and albums a lot. At th end, I voted for Pink Floyd.

Close to the Edge because I think DSOTM is a tad bit overrated. Maybe Close to the Edge as well as it’s the highest rated album on PA but no, no, I think it deserves the #1 spot. Or #2 after Selling England

CttE. I cannot think of a special song, let alone an album, of PF other than High Hopes (for me, of course).
Anyway, CttE is splendid. Edited by Shadowyzard - January 05 2021 at 08:25 |

Two landmark albums but CTTE gets the nod.

Once again, a cruel choice, but I'll give DSotM some help.

For this poll it might need it but in general not so much especially when we consider that Dark side of the moon has sold something like 25 million albums and CTTE about one million.
