Lot's of regularly praised bands getting polls right now, what about the less beloved?

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

oops, I voted prior to being sure of my decision so I could see the votes, and now it's irreversible. Oh well. Score one for Starcastle!

Having listened to an hour of Crack The Sky, definitely Starcastle. CTS seem to be just another bog standard rock band to me.

I love the first two Starcastle albums.
Crack the Sky is OK but not as good for me.

It's been a while since I heard either but from what I remember Crack the Sky was an interesting band.
Starcastle is nice but kind of strikes me as "Yes light". Not necessarily a bad thing but it didn't really stick with me. |

I enjoy a band with a sense of humor, and CtS's first two records fit the bill. The third "Safety In Numbers" is pretty strong too! After that, they just kept kinda ambling on with minor peaks here and there... dozens or so albums later.
Starcastle's first two were also very strong, but highly derivative. The RTB production on "Fountains of Light" is stellar! A third album, more of the same, diminishing returns... and then *yuck* Crack the Sky in this poll. I listen to both often enough.
