Here We Go Again with Album #6 while there's Still Life in these polls before it's all Over.

Still Life by far. My favourite VdGG album. Other good ones by GG, Traffic and Manfred Mann's Earthband.

Between GG and VdGG. Both great albums, but The Power and the Glory gets the nod this time.

So sincerely playing the game, the proclamation is Gentle Giant.

Almost a Match between King Crimson and Gentle Giant, but KC gets my vote.

I gave Traffic the green light too, while King Crimson remained on red.

Two outstanding albums here:
Nightingales and Bombers and The Power and the Glory. Very close, but I'm giving it to Nightingales and Bombers by a fraction.

This time I take a break from voting for Van der Graaf Generator to vote for Gentle Giant - The Power and the Glory.

I had a feeling Gentle Giant were going to do well in this poll, even though I've never heard the album.

It was actually my first exposure to Gentle Giant more than 20 years ago. I didn't like it at that time and went with Octopus instead, which I do like. But recently, I gave The Power and the Glory another try and this time I liked the album, even to the extent of preferring it to Octopus. |
