Still Life by far. My favourite VdGG album.
Other good ones by GG, Traffic and Manfred Mann's Earthband.

Between GG and VdGG. Both great albums, but The Power and the Glory gets the nod this time.

The low spark of starless power.

So sincerely playing the game, the proclamation is Gentle Giant.

Almost a Match between King Crimson and Gentle Giant, but KC gets my vote.

Two outstanding albums here:
Nightingales and Bombers and The Power and the Glory.
Very close, but I'm giving it to Nightingales and Bombers by a fraction.

This time I take a break from voting for Van der Graaf Generator to vote for Gentle Giant - The Power and the Glory.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

I had a feeling Gentle Giant were going to do well in this poll, even though I've never heard the album. Smile

It was actually my first exposure to Gentle Giant more than 20 years ago. I didn't like it at that time and went with Octopus instead, which I do like. But recently, I gave The Power and the Glory another try and this time I liked the album, even to the extent of preferring it to Octopus.
