SFaM is the only Dream Theater album I would ever actually contemplate listening to on purpose at this point in my life.

Awake was the first and last DT album I purchased.
Erotomania is barely worth said purchase price, or re-listening IMHO. Not a fan of DT in general LOL. They're THE most sterile progressive metal band of all time. It's like room temp faucet water that everyone swears is Crown Royal or something.

I must have listened to at least 10 different versions of Scenes From A Memory (DVD's and CD's) and I'm yet to like any one of them. Awake is absolutely brilliant and I don't get how SFAM out rates it.

SFAM for me, Awake is just "ok".
I&W is their best though. And I love their debut too! |
