Oddtomatic - Cryptic Messages

Finnish band, Oddtomatic, which plays instrumental prog, has just released its debut album `Cryptic Messages`, which can be listened to on several stream platforms, including #spotify, #tidal, #soundcloud, #applemusic, #youtube.  The music could be described as pop-prog and influences have been obtained from the bands Camel, Saga, Jethro Tull, Pekka Pohjola, etc. without forgetting the tones of classical music.
The band consists of Pekka Ojasalo (guitar, keyboards), Jukka Piipari (bass), Tomi Makkonen (drums) and Jan Tiusanen (keyboards, flute). All the songs on the album are the handwriting of Pekka Ojasalo and Sami Sarhamaa has acted as its musical producer, mixer and guest musician. Cello artist Aino-Maija Riutamaa de Mata will also visit the album with a song called Interlude.

	welcome to the forum, and thanks for the presentation I'd say this is .... eh, rather superb music, charming it's not a full-length album, but probably will be a case for our crossover prog team anyhow ... maybe you can tell us more accurate how Sami Sarhamaa was involved (songs, instruments) Edited by Rivertree - February 13 2021 at 03:26
