Abacab for sure.
How anyone can listen to Dodo/Lurker or Keep it dark and find it boring is incredible to me..

Breathless is so much better than it gets credit for! ’Echoes’ is fantastic and ’Down on the Farm’ is so summer-y in feel

Love Breathless
Broadsword has its moments Dont know Missing Piece but aim to get the SW remix. Cant abide most of ABacab Dont know the KC album. My favourite album everybody hates is Tormato, liked it on release still like it. |

The Missing Piece is a brilliant album, only shadowed by a regretably flat mastering sound. Breathless also rules, I saw them playing Echoes live: best part of the show. Beat is fine, putting aside the neurotical bits. Broadsword got better when remastered. Abacab is only redeemed by the title track.

It depends on how much you like the good and how much of the bad you'll willing to put up with. The title track is undeniably good. I've never liked Dodo but there's many who do, while I think there's a couple of better tracks on side 2.

I don't hate it, never have done. Not as good as its predecessor but still good.

I was kidding, obviously. What was Micky disagreeing to was my opinion that Breathless is a better album than Abacab. Wish he reacted to my silly joke. |

I like Tormato better than its predecessor. Going for the One is an album that’s never really clicked with me. My top five Yes albums, I think, would be: 1. Tales 2. Close to the Edge 3. Drama 4. Relayer 5. Tormato Apart from Tales being my number one, the remainder of the top five is quite fluid. I have almost no doubt that if I check how I’ve ranked in previous forum posts about Yes albums, it will be the same albums in a different order. I’ve never really understood why Tormato is so disliked, although I guess the cover art doesn’t do it any favours. I mean, you shouldn’t judge a book (or an album) by its cover, but let’s face it - it’s the first impression most of us have, and Tormato almost sets itself up to be disliked.... |

I actually think Me and Sarah Jane is the best song on Abacab
^ also agree about Going for the One, I just don't really like it and I can't quite put my finger on why. I think after the two albums that preceded it becoming my favorite Yes albums full of that grit and experimental sound, GFTO just sounds a bit too bright and one sided. I also hold the opinion that Awaken peaks in the first 5 minutes and is a bit overrated, also, that's an album that could use a good remix. This could be a good poll topic too, albums that fall into that 4.00 flat range/area

^^Same about Going for the One. Or as I always read it first when I see it as an acronym: GTFO.
