Moonchild gets skipped a lot on the turntable.

I love them all, but I guess my least favourite is the (almost) title track.

Moonchild, but I personally don't think it's a "bad" track, per se.

My choice too. The chorus is catchy but I objectively enjoy it the least out of all the tracks. I love Moonchild and I LOVE I Talk to The Wind.

If ever a track was going to win this poll it would be Moonchild.

Finally my favourite flaw, the usual suspect. The ... improv? for the otherwise awesome track Moonchild. So no veto..

I bet most of the people who voted Moonchild still like the conventional beginning of the track, and have voted it their least favourite because of the lengthy improvisation. I know there are people who listen to the first part, before pressing skip, rather than skipping the whole thing. I bet if it were tracked as “Moonchild” and “Moonchild Improvisation”, there would be very few o people voting for the former as their least favourite track, and most for the latter.
I think it’s perfectly understandable, and I certainly don’t judge people for not liking the improvisation. It’s far less accessible and mainstream. I like it, and I know some love it, but it was always going to be divisive, compared with the rest of the album. The title track is still my least favourite, though (even if I still love it). |

Never really loved "Schizoid Man" (though I understand and appreciate its genius) and always loved the ethereal spaciousness of "Moonchild".

You quiet described my apreciation of Moonchild... except that I did not vote for it, just because I do like that beginning part (and I do would have voted for the Moonchild Improvisation you just suggested), but as it is, I ended up voting for I Talk to the Wind (which I still think is a beautiful song anyway). |
