No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Think it'll be a fairly clean sweep, or will this one be another PA surprise?

"The Boys in the Band" is much more than 5 percent better, which is better than nothing. Voting the Giant.
Yes' "Five Percent for Nothing" vs. GG's "Nothing at All" might be an idea for an unbalanced pairing at some time. |

Just a fanboy passin' through.

Gentle Giant - The Boys in the Band is a real song. Yes - Five Percent for Nothing is an interlude. Time to Awake the Giant !

"Five Per Cent For Nothing" is nice for what it is but doesn't really develop into anything. "Boys In The Band" it is for me.

My father said The Boys in The Band reminds him of a Frank Zappa backing band.
I don't think he realizes that still a compliment lol.

GG, but that little Yes piece could have been something if they had expanded it. Even if they just kept doing what they were doing for another three minutes.

I love Yes but it's not even close. I'm sure even Bill Bruford would agree that boys in the band is better. Lol.

Just to be clear, you're asking us to choose between a 38 second bit of filler with an actual instrumental track around 4.40 in length?
Why? Anyway, this may be the only time I vote for GG over Yes, but the Boys in the Band is reasonably listenable, compared to much of their ear twisting twaddle |
|
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
