Did any of the Dad's out there get any cool music for Fathers Day?  I ended up with some good stuff.
  • Brand X  - Moroccan Roll
  • Hiromi - Move
  • Nician - Time Crunch
  • Rush - A Farewell to Kings  - 40th Anniversary Edition
 So, What did you get?

Instead of Moroccan Roll and Time Crunch, my gifts were closer to a Tootsie Roll and a Crispy Crunch. No music for me, but I did get edibles quite to my taste.

And most specially, a drawing that took one of my children four hours to make from one of our favourite anime series. This, by the way, was much sweeter to me than the sweets I received.

I got some music the week before.....two of my boys cooked for me yesterday. Tri-tip steak, corn on the cob and bacon wrapped jalapenos all on the Traeger!! Fruit salad for dessert all washed down with Pacifico beer....

Yummy!!

Talk to me about the Rush box set.........I saw it in the store last week. I have an original 1977 press, I have the 2015 reissue mastered at Abbey Road, which I believe is the same version used in this 40th box set. So all I would be getting is the live material.....

I got some sweet prog vinyl in the mail......

Fovea Hex - The Salt Garden (Landscaped) - It features a transparent vinyl with two very long remixes by Steven Wilson and a CD with two additional remixes.

Bass Communion I - More Steven Wilson experimental work.  This is a reissue vinyl that contains an additional track on it.

Yes it's music that doesn't seem to appeal to many people other than me......  To me, it's heaven!
