No prizes for guessing who's going to win this poll before The Division Bell calls time on the voting, although I voted for the less obvious Pink Floyd.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

It may be because it's late in the day & I need caffeine but I'm not getting the connection with these polls.
Anyway , went with Pink Floyd Here.

ELP with Trilogy for me, then Yes, then KC. It's close between these three.

Crimson with Yes close behind and ELP close behind that. I like The Division Bell, but I don't hold it up quite as high as the others and The Moody Blues depends on my mood as to whether I like them or not. Genesis "We Can't Prog Anymore" doesn't even register.

This one is a bit simpler than the last.
ELP - a great album, one of their top 5, but that's in a discography which may not have more than 5 great albums, and it's not one of the higher ones. Genesis - love some tracks on this, others are the definition of CD era filler, and coincidentally those are the ones Phil could've just done solo. Moody Blues - haven't heard this one... is it any good? Pink Floyd - I think I listened to it once... not bad but I doubt it competes with... King Crimson - I can't add anything to the discussion around this album. I can only argue that, while it might make nice spa music, the majority of Moonchild is among their least compelling instrumentals. On top of that, as beautiful as they are, Epitaph and ITCOTCK are a bit long and repetitive. Just a little bit! Classic though. All time classic. Yes - Oh the controversial one. The prog head's dream, the RS critic's worst nightmare. The one album that heard every insult lobbed against progressive music by people who were never going to understand it in the first place, and decided to give those haters an actual case. ... it's pretty sick. Not quite my favorite from Yes, but these five guys are near the top of their game all across these four epics. The compositions spiral and twirl into one interesting, compelling, thrilling, soothing section after another, like wandering through a museum as a child with your imaginary friends in a spaceship. The melodies, where they appear, are every bit as fantastic as those of the previous three records. It's just a great album. Perhaps even greater than KC's debut. It gets my vote.

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

Trilogy. (although not quite ELP's best and feels slightly less inspired than Tarkus.)
